My client is a top flight multinational electrical manufacturer in the Australian Electrical Arena, supplying top quality LV Industrial Electrical products through to Electrical Wholesalers, OEMs, Consultants, Switchboard Builders, Electrical Contractors and End Users. In existence for more than a century and operating out of more than 100 countries across the globe, they are an iconic & entrenched leading name in the Electrical Industry Worldwide.
POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Due to forecast growth and expansion, a new Sales Engineer – Major Contractors position has become available in Sydney. Your responsibilities will include; developing relationships with Tier 3 Electrical Contractors throughout Sydney, promoting the company’s range of power distribution products and securing project opportunities. You will be responsible for prospecting for potential new business opportunities and securing project business to push back through the distribution channel, whilst delivering the highest levels of customer service & technical support.
CANDIDATE
Your background will ideally include; proven & successful external technical sales experience within the Electrical Industry. You will have a sound technical aptitude, ideally supported by Electrical Trade Qualifications. You will possess excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills. You will be energetic, enthusiastic & self motivated, with a proven and demonstrated history of selling through to the Sydney Electrical Contractor market, as well as reference able contacts within this space.
REWARDS
The successful applicant will receive a base salary of $70,000-$75,000 + Super + Incentives, plus a Fully Maintained Company Vehicle or $18K Vehicle Allowance, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself with a Leading Multinational Manufacturer in the Electrical Game!!!!!
