Our client has invested millions of dollars revamping their existing six inch facility, and developing a volume 8” fab working to exacting 0.35um. Their Newport facility is now the technology centre for all future NPI across the group, offering employees long term job security, enhanced career progression packages and real engineering careers. They are recruiting right across the board and need to make the key hire Senior Test Engineer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and improvement of PCM test and data systems for disposition in production and engineering areas. You will support the integration and management of local data feeds and systems to corporate data systems (GYMS) and manage data analysis of yield and PCM issues on various IC manufacturing technologies.
Key Skills:
* Improve the yield + parametric performance of Power MOSFET products.
* Good problem solving skills, ability to lead and use 8D techniques in a team situation.
* Initiative to quickly identify problems and implement corrective actions.
* Define DOE experiments and complete the analysis using JMP software.
* Ability to communicate technically to both the process and development teams.
* Ability to communicate effectively to all the department teams within the organisation.
* Provide support to the Device section leader when required.
* Must be flexible and willing to support requirements 24/7 organisation.
Ideally you are educated to degree level in chemistry, device physics or science, and will ideally have post graduate semiconductor experience. We are looking for candidates committed to driving and leading change and production improvement initiatives. High levels of inter-personal and communication ability are a must.
