National Forestry Authority (NFA) was established by the National Forestry and Tree Planting Act 2003 to conserve, develop and manage the Central Forest Reserves and to supply quality forestry-related products and services. NFA manages Central Forest Reserves in partnership with Government, private sector and local communities.NFA is seeking to fill the following positions:
POSITION: RECORDS SUPERVISOR (1 POST)
Reports to: Administration Specialist
Duty Station: Kampala
Salary Scale: 5
Terms of Employment: 3 years contract [Renewable)
Job Summary: Will provide a high-quality records management service for Policy and Planning.
Key Result Areas:
• Establish and implement a records management system in the Authority.
• Ensure that records management best practices are applied within the authority
• Over see mail management and internal distribution of mail.
• Liaise with the IT unit to advance the computerisation of records in the organisation
• Maintain a disaster plan for information
• Supervise all records related activities
Job requirement
Minimum Qualifications, skills and experience.-
• Minimum of a degree in Records Management from a recognised institution
• 3 years working experience of similar work in a busy Setting
• Computer literacy.
