East African Premier Investments Ltd (EAPIL) is a company involved in the provision of credit and financial services to SMEs in Uganda. EAPIL also provides business development-services to its clients to develop fully fledged business plans that are used to assess the viability of these businesses before they are funded by the company. EAPIL also helps to build SMEs’ institutional capacities through training and monitoring business performance to ensure business success. Applications are therefore solicited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following positions:1. Credit Officer (one vacancy)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reports directly to the Ag. Managing Director
• Give out and receive loan applications from potential clients
• Train clients in credit and business management.
• Appraises loans
• Assist clients to fill out loan application forms
• Participates in loan disbursements
• Ensure timely loan recovery.
• Market EAPIL loan products and other services to potential clients
Job requirement
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum qualification: BBA/ Accounting, B.Com/ Micro Finance
• Partial CPA and/or ACCA will be an added advantage.
• 2 years minimum work experience in a reputable lending institution.
• Demonstrated proficiency in use of Automated Data Processing technology and tested experience with Loan Tracking software like Loan Performer.
