Position: Quality Assurance Director
Reports to: National Director
Duty Station: National office
Location: Kampala
Purpose of position:
To develop and implement programming systems for Ministry quality and development in line with WV Uganda strategic direction.
Key Result Areas
Divisional Leadership
• Provide overall leadership and technical support to the Ministry Quality (MQ) team to support quality delivery through development of guidelines and tools
• Coach, mentor and develop the capacity of the MQ Division team to deliver on their goals
• Reviewing the Divisional structure and mandates to align with | the National Office needs.
• Develop , implement & review Divisional plans and budget and make regular reports to the National Director
• Contribute to the leadership and governance of World Vision Uganda
• Represent the MQ Division at local, Regional and Partnership networks
Strategic Business Partnering
• To develop and monitor implementation of technically feasible approaches and practices in all sectors of WVU ministry in accordance with the various strategies
• To regularly review WV Uganda operational strategies in view of current realities, in liaison with Programmes Director
• To identify potential sources of resources and facilitate the process of resource acquisition in accordance with the WVU strategic direction.
Enhance Ministry capacity and delivery
• To build and strengthen technical capacity in the WV Uganda field Programmes
• To provide guidance in the design, monitoring and evaluation of programmes in WV Uganda in accordance with the DME strategy
• To create and maintain strategic partnerships for resource mobilization and collaboration, in liaison with the National Director
Job requirement
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Abilities
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
• A Masters degree in human studies
• Qualification and experience in Project design and management
• Leadership and management skills and experience
• Extensive knowledge in research, evaluation and documentation
• Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
