LOCATION: Mbarara Job Summary
This position requires a person who has capacity in the areas of basic stock and store management, system maintenance, supplies and customer handling knowledge with emphasis on Pharmaceutical products with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The person should have the capacity to work under minimum supervision, be proactive, high sense of integrity and honesty with demonstrated sense of organizing skills. Knowledge in logistics and fleet management will be of an added advantage.
The Stores Assistant reports to the Senior Office Administrator
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
• Receive and record all procurements and disbursements
• Track all items dispatched to ensure that that they reach their final destinations and also track the incoming goods throughout the way to Mbarara to ensure timely delivery
• Monitor Stock level and maintain these at the required level Q Issue stocks on request against official and approved documentation.
• Ensure that only authorized staff are given access to stores.
• Maintain orderly and up to date documentation and filling system of stores items.
• Keep up to date inventory of Stock/ supplies, Equipment and furniture and any other assets of EGPAF, review the same and report on these on quarterly basis .
• Make stock variance reports .
• Post receipts and issues in the Inventory control system.
• Any other duties as will be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Diploma in Stores Management from recognized Institution.
• Additional knowledge in fleet/logistics management is required.
• Knowledge of Computer applications like Word, Access, Excel.
• Application of supply chain management.
