Volunteer
Opportunity description
RAPCD an
organisation that supports Children with Dsiabilities is seeking for Special
Needs teachers to volunteer with its school located in Kasese district in
Uganda.
The primary school
that hosts children with different disabilities including the deaf, blind,
wheel chair users, physical disabilities among others has 98% of its children
in boarding.
The volunteer as
long as he/she is interested in working with special needs children will be
welcome even when she/he may not have special needs education training.
The volunteer once
is with us will be trained on job in areas we find she/he has a gap.
The teaching is
expected to be in any area the volunteer thinks is conversant with which may
include English, sports, mathematics, social studies, mathematics among
otthers.
