HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING
Responsibilities
As Head of Sales and Marketing, you will
• report directly to the General Manager,
• lead and manage the sales and marketing team in the tactical and strategic development of the company’s products and services,
• spearhead the sales and marketing team in presentations,
• be responsible for business development and implementation of the company’s growth strategy,
• be responsible for the performance of the Sales and Marketing Department,
• work closely with the Operations Department to facilitate joint co-operation and delivery, and
• identify business opportunities to expand into new markets.
Prerequisites
To be successful in this challenging position, you must
• possess a degree in Business Management or equivalent, with minimum 5 years’ experience in similar capacity in management,
• be a self starter who is proactive, independent and articulate, and
• possess leadership quality, interpersonal skills and be extremely resourceful in all avenues.
Candidates with horticultural experience and possess contacts with developers, (landscape) architects and consultants will have an added advantage.
