Social Impact (SI) Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Specialist Job Vacancy in Malawi

evaluation, management consulting, technical assistance, and training services
to strengthen international development programs, organizations and policies.
Our global services are in the areas of democracy and governance, health and
education, agriculture, the environment, and economic growth.

Objective:
This is an Impact Evaluation of USAID/Malawi’s Early Grade Reading Activity
(EGRA) program. It is a five year activity that includes evaluating student
reading outcomes (baseline, mid, and endline), conducting household surveys
(with the base/mid/endline), conducting two national reading assessments, and a
final Impact Evaluation.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
The ME&L Specialist shall manage the monitoring, evaluation, learning and
knowledge management components of the project.

Qualifications:

  • Post graduate qualification in economics,
    statistics and or any other closely related areas; 
  • At least 5 Years’ Experience with both
    quantitative and qualitative statistical processing and analysis packages 
  • Proven track record of producing monitoring
    and evaluation reports of high quality;
  • Proven experiences in presentation of results
    to a variety of stakeholders; 
  • Proven experiences managing learner
    achievement studies.
