and Evaluation Officer – 3 yr contract Lilongwe
Strengthening
of capacity of staff in Management Information System, Working with Techcnial
leads, Programme/Project Coordinators to design adequate and effective
M&E/IA of policy an
d campaign work, Support in coordinating programme
reviews at national, LRP/Projects and partner level, Developing and
implementing of M&E.IA system within ActionAid Malawi, Supporting
LP/Projects in strategic plan development in line with CSP ensuring that each
LRP has M&E framework frothier LRP strategic plan, Supporting the process
of research at various levels, Enhancing and taking forward the process of innovation,
programme learning and sharing within and without AAM and with partners,
Leading role in enhancing monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment within
ActionAid Malawi in line with CSP IV strategic directions within the Monitoring
and Evaluation Framework
This
position requires a person who is conversant with multi sectoral
approach. As a position for national programme support, reference has to
be made to strategic plans, Accountability Learning and Planning Systems (ALPS)
Local Finance Policies and Procedures and other documents and ActionAid Global
M&E matric.
The
ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in
the field of study related to the job with a minimum of 3 yrs working
experience in M&E Programme development , research and policy, Computer
literate in word processing, spreadsheet, statistical and graphic packages
