Accountant – Project, 3 year
contract – Lilongwe
The ideal candidate will have a
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance and be Chartered Accountant (ACCA, CIMA
and CPA) or equivalent and a minimum of 3 yrs related experience

management, Demonstrable competence in provision of financial support services,
analysis and development of reports, capacity building in financial management,
Knowledge of computer-based accounting packages such as SUN is expected, Proven
experience in producing budgets and financial reports for use by management and
donors, The preferred candidate will show evidence of empathy with ActionAid’s
values
Plan and Budget for Projects,
Reports on utilisation of Financial resources andReporting, Grants Management,
Reviews and recommends partners budgets and fundraising proposals, Builds and
reviews the financial management capacity of partners, Ensures compliance with
established ActionAid Malawi financial policies, Maintain a financial
information management and reporting system, Prepares financial statements for
internal or external auditors as required
