Gender
and Sustainability Field Facilitators – 8 posts
Reporting to the Gender Coordinator, the Gender and Sustainability Facilitator
will have a role of ensuring that gender is incorporated in all purposes of the
UBALE programme. She/he will be responsible for introducing
gender-related issues of the project to key stakeholders, community leaders,
and representatives of existing CBOs or organisations already active in the
community. The position holder will strive to align the procedures of the
service provider in the area so that they are gender sensitive. She/he
will
also ensure that gender is being championed at community level so that
females, the youth and males are equally engaged in all programmes
purposes. The position holder will lead collecting information that will
assist the programme to understand gender barrier issues.
Applicants should possess a Diploma in appropriate social and development
related field such as Social Science, Sociology, development Studies, Community
Development or Rural Development with at least 2 yrs work experience in a
similar position
