Monitoring and
Evaluation Officer – based at the Head Office – NAPHAM
Under the overall
supervision of the Executive Director and reporting directly to the Programs
Manager, the Monitoring a
nd Evaluation Officer shall be responsible for the
monitoring and evaluation and ensuring high quality and timely inputs, and
ensuring that the project maintains its strategic goal and that its activities
result in the achievement of its intended outputs in a cost effective and
timely manner develop and strengthen monitoring visits and evaluation
procedures for the projects, Monitor all project activities, expenditures and
progress towards achieving the project outputs and results, Develop monitoring
and impact indicators for the project success, Develop and modify monitoring
tools and plans for the projects, Consolidate, analyse and generate progress
reports monthly, quarterly , semi-annually and annually of all project
activities, Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation
system, Organise and conduct training of project staff on monitoring and
evaluation, Provide feedback and recommendation to the Management on the
progress of projects for improving efficiency and effectiveness of the
projects, Facilitate and participate in annual project reviews and planning
workshops, Maintain and review NAPHAM M&E system as well as the project
database, Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to
time
Bachelors degree in
Demography/Statistics/Social Science obtained from any recognised institution,
Those with Diploma in Statistical field will be considered, At least 2 yrs of
work experience in monitoring and evaluation in NGO set up, Proven ability in
Microsoft Excel, Power Point and any of Statistical packages a must, Previous
work with people living with HIV/AIDS preferred, Willingness to frequently
travel on monitoring visits to remote areas, Ability to work with minimum
supervision and on multiple tasks,
The posts are for a
contract period of 1 yr and renewal is subject to successful performance
appraisal and availability of funds
