The successful
individuals will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate
superb technical competency, delivering mission critical datacenter solutions
and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security
Install, maintain
and support enterprise data center storage systems, servers, and network
equipment, Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain UNIX operating
systems, Oracle database management systems, application software and system
management tools, Proactively monitor and ensure the highest levels of critical
systems and infrastructure availability, Monitor and test application
performance for potential bottlenecks and provide solutions, Liaise with
customers and other IT personnel for other problems resolutions
BSc Degree in
Computer/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or related field with a
minimum of 3 to 5 yrs experience for the Senior Systems Engineer an d2 yrs
experience for the Systems Engineer in an enterprise-wide organisation, Proven
working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting, UNIX/Linux
based environments, Those with experience with operating systems like Red hat,
Oracle Linux, Solaris or AIX will have an added advantage, Experience with
virtualisation and containerization (e.g. VMware, Oracle VM), Certification in
CCNA, Oracle database, EMC/NetApp Unified Storage, Cisco UCS servers, VMWare
will be added advantage, Knowledge of UNIX/Linux is a MUST
