an SME Credit Manager – Lilongwe
Preparation of Loan
Contracts for approval loan applications – In line with recommendations and
decisions made by the credit committees, prepares loan contracts and related
documentation, Liaises with Risk and Standards department for security
perfection and eventual disbursement of all approved loans by Finance
Department, Ensures that clients are no
tified in time with regard to the status
of their loan applications
This is a senior
position requiring a mature + Achievement oriented + Problem solver + Critical
judgment and decision maker + Self motivated individual with strong numeracy
and communication skills and strong analytical competencies, coupled with the
ability to inert alia
Holder of a
Bachelors Degree+ Professional Accounting Qualification + 5 yrs of credit
analysis, loan review or elated experience + Commercial credit analysis
experience preferred
Responsibility over
assigned Commercial Credit Analysis Functions: – Analyses and evaluates loan
applications (financial data, credit reports, peer/industry comparison, pricing
review, and cash analysis using in-house analysis tools) and review and analyse
the financial condition of any guarantors, Prepares narrative analysis of
findings within pre-determined time frames and presents the same for approval
to Branch Credit Committee or Head Office Credit Committee
Ensures that lending
policies and procedures including sector concentration limits are adhered to,
Responsible for quarterly review of current SME credit files and ongoing
portfolio risk analysis to advise the Senior Credit Analyst of changing
financial exposure and other related issues, Responsible for gathering all
documentation needed to process SME Credit applications
Reporting to the
Chief Risk Officer inter alia
