The
TSP Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) under the supervision of the COP, will oversee
the strategic development and technical direction of the entire project. She/he
will make operational and manage

ment decisions, manage and assign USAID mission
requests, and ensure the quality and timely completion of reporting and
deliverables. The DCOP will possess strong management skills for overseeing and
working with a variety of technical staff and extended partners, and will
coordinate work in various countries under multiple and competing deadlines.
The DCOP will have solid written and verbal communication skills.

Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with project staff in

TBD, based either in Lilongwe, Malawi or Pretoria, South Africa; with potential

Master’s Degree, Masters of Public Health, PhD or MD required;

At least 10 years of senior level experience designing, managing, and
implementing large, complex development projects in developing countries;
