services in Malawi in the areas of telecommunication, broadcasting and postal

Spectrum Planning Officer (Grade MA6)
Job purpose
The Spectrum Planning officer assists MACRA in
accomplishing its

objectives by contributing towards the efficient planning and
usage of spectrum in order to maximize its economic benefits. The incumbent
will report to the Spectrum Planning Manager.
Responsibilities

initial technical analysis for operators regarding spectrum planning,
allocation, and assignment

in cross-border coordination on spectrum usage and frequency assignments

Qualifications and Experience
·
Must have
an Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications or its equivalent. A degree will be
an added advantage.

at least three years of experience in RF planning, frequency planning and
optimization of mobile cellular networks.
