KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation Secretary Job Vacancy in Botswana

1.Short term (in-country) Secretary (2 working weeks),
based in Gaborone

1.1.Purpose of the Job
To support the coordination of the Gene Expert Workshop
to be held in Botswana with secretarial studies.

1.2.Organisational Position
•In the organizational hierarchy the short term
secretary, reports to the Country Representative of KNCV TB Foundation
Botswana.

1.3.Principal Activities: After and Before workshop
•Checking room booking list with hotel
•Arranging airport pickup/drop off of participants
with hotel

•Printing and transportation of materials, banners
•Check meeting room setup in the venue
•Registration of participants
•Handing out folders
•Paying of DSA to participants
•On the spot troubleshooting, logistics
•Putting material on CD and hand to participants
•Handling contract with venue
•transport materials back to office

1.4.Position Profile and Required Qualifications
•National Diploma/Higher National Diploma in
Secretarial Studies (NDSS/HNDSS)

•Elegant work experience
•Efficient office administration
•Delivery of results
•Travel management
•Project management
•PC literate
•Planning and organising
•Excellent verbal and written communication and
networking skills

•Used to working in a team and operating in a
management culture that is built on consensus

•Excellent written and communication skills and
fluency in English

•Ability to work independently
•Botswana nationals will have preference upon equal
qualifications.

1.5.Contract Package
Attractive market related remuneration package.
This is a short term position and ends at the project closure approximately 10
days. The person should be full-time available from 15-26 July 2013
