ALIVE Outdoors is seeking to subcontract Outdoor & Experiential Education Instructors this September.
The backbone and essence of each ALIVE Outdoors experience is right in our name: Adventure, Leadership, Individuality, Values and Empowerment. Our ultimate goal is to offer meaningful programs that empower young people to reach for their potential.
Our programs cover the gamut in experiential and outdoor scope. Programs take place in both residential Outdoor Centres as well as wilderness settings. Fall 2011 features programs in the Haliburton Highlands, Temagami, Muskoka and Algonquin Park areas.
Fall 2011 Programs start September 5th and go until September 28th, 2011.
Pay rates are discussed during interviews. Rates are very competitive within the industry. Additional pay increments are added for each of these certifications:
ACCT ropes and challenge course training, NLS lifeguards, Bronze Cross, Swift Water Rescue training, WAFA (40hr) or WFR (80hr) wilderness first aid, and Certified Teachers.
*High Ropes instructors/facilitators are in demand!
All instructors must have a minimum of current Standard First Aid & CPR (16hr) and a clear, 2011 Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
Instructors are subcontracted for as little as 1 program week or as many as 4 weeks.
