- Supervise
preparation of monthly management accounts for the bank, for distribution
to management on a timely basis - Preparation
of group pack for the bank, for distribution on a timely basis/accordingly
to set deadlines - Maintenance
of the general ledger of the bank to ensure the integrity of accounting
transactions that are processed - Preparation
of Monthly provisions schedule - Authorization
of FCC transactions and review all GL accounts for all branches - To
identify the nature of intergroup reconciliation items and adjusts these
to ensure that the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reflect the true net
position of the Group at the consolidated level - Review
the IFC and CAMELS report - Review
the preparation of weekly BDM reports for the bank - Review
the preparation of the monthly key risk indicators report for finance - Prepare
the bank’s quarterly forecasts and budget - Monthly
/Periodic reports for ATMA - Project
manager for finance related projects - Assigning
tasks to subordinates, reviewing their work and handle their work related
issues - Providing
accurate and timeous information on a regular and ah hoc basis to internal
and external users - General
ledger maintenance
Requirements
- Degree
in Finance/ professional accounting qualification - 3 to 5
years work experience required
