An expanding
Consulting Engineering firm based in Gaborone invites applications from
suitably qualified candidates for the under-mentioned position.
ASSISTANT
RESIDENT ENGINEER – ROADS & BRIDGES
Candidates must possess academic qualification o
f BSc/BEng Degree and at least
Ten (10) years post-graduate experience and must have worked as an Assistant
Resident Engineer (ARE) in a road project involving bridges in the past Seven
(7) years in developing world. The candidate must also be conversant with
administration of contracts (especially FIDIC) and resolution of contractual
disputes. Candidates with professional registration will have an added
advantage. Candidates must be familiar with AutoCAD and Surpac, and a fair
knowledge of other engineering software such as Civil Designer Road Module and
other related packages will be an added advantage. Candidate registered with
surveyors’s registration board will be given preference.
