IT Manager (Banking / Mobile Payments) and IT Administrator Jobs Vacancies in Kenya

I.T. Manager (Banking/Mobile Payments)We are a growing international Money Transfer Organization and we are seeking to recruit an outstanding individual with at least 3 years relevant experience in the Banking/ Mobile payments industry.

The successful candidate will exhibit strong I.T. skills.
The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and must be able to communicate effectively with end users and IT/technical teams. The candidate must have an analytical mind, the ability to share knowledge and have strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
• Provide first level technical support for e-banking, mbanking solutions, multi payments channel applications across various platforms.
• Integration of various payment and banking solutions/platforms is an added advantage.
• Provide technical support in web based e-wallet solutions
• Make e-banking technical presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
• Ensure customers are adequately trained after installation of e-Banking software or application.
• Contribute to design of new mobile banking products and reviewing of relevant technical aspects of the new products as well as projects.
• Monitor implementation and progress of all m-banking products/projects and recommend corrective measures where/if necessary.
• Ensure all products and project materials related to mbanking are properly documented and archived, with the objective of building core product expertise and solid knowledge base.
• Develop and maintain relationship with key Telco and mobile banking companies.
• Continuously analyze e-Banking and m-banking customer needs for development/introduction of more competitive solutions.
• Initiate new leads for e-Banking business.
• Successfully conclude all viable leads generated. Work closely with e-banking and mobile banking sales and marketing team.
• Develop and manage the I.T. team.

Qualifications:
• An I.T. related university Bachelors degree.
• Detailed knowledge of e-banking, m-banking and money transfer solutions/products, both within banks and other service providers.
• At least 3 years experience in a relevant position.

Skills:
• Experience working with Mobile Banking/Payment systems
• An understanding of Platform API integration
• Strong project management skills
• Analytical skills
• Presentation skills

IT Administrator

Responsibilities:
• Maintain staff computers and laptops.
• Maintain the companies LAN/WAN.
• Sets up staff email accounts
• Helps maintain the company website.
• Assists the management technically while purchasing any IT equipment.
• Assists in training staff in IT matters
• Updates the management on the new IT innovations in the market.

Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in IT or any other related field
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar capacity
• Good Communication Skills
• Excellent analytical, planning, management and reporting skills.
• Hardware Maintenance skills to service file servers and infrastructure hardware in a Rack.
• Experience in Network troubleshooting
• Must be hands-on and proactive.
