Grade 1 Teacher
Permanent Full-Time Position – Commences September 2011
Applicants should have a minimum of three years of experience in education.
Applicants for the Grade 1 position should be knowledgeable about current literacy and assessment/evaluation practices and familiar with the philosophy and practices of restitution, inquiry teaching and if possible, Reggio Emilia beliefs and practices.
All applicants should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team. Successful candidates must hold a Manitoba Teaching certificate or be eligible to obtain one. In addition to exceptional teaching qualifications, candidates must have the skills and experience required to make an active contribution to our extensive co-curricular program and to the life of our School.
