What: Green Jobs Forum, a new addition at this year’s Green Living Show, will unite job seekers and green businesses, institutions and agencies around the topic of the green economy. The forum will include an expert-led panel that will encourage and motivate eco-friendly job seekers, while exploring new business opportunities and areas of growth in this burgeoning industry.
Tom Rand, Green Entrepreneur, Venture Capitalist and Author of the acclaimed “Kicking the Fossil Fuel Habit -10 Clean Technologies to Save our World,” will open the Forum with a Keynote Address. The Green Jobs Forum is proudly sponsored by Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited.

Samsung Electronics Canada, a presenting sponsor of the 2011 Green Living Show, will provide free admission to anyone who brings e-waste to the event. E-waste will be recycled by Samsung’s Recycling DirectTM and facilitated by Global Electric Electronic Processing (GEEP) – in the most ecologically responsible manner in their Canadian facility.
Admission without e-waste is $12 (adult), Seniors $9 (65+) and Students $9 (13 — 17), Group Rate $8/person (10+ people), School Rates $5/ person (10+ students /teacher). Paid admission has a portion going to charity.
