Founded in 1970 and a prominent leader in the Canadian beauty industry, Prestilux specializes in the distribution of prestige skincare, fragrance and cosmetic products, namely, BIODERMA, first brand of skin cosmetics in terms of growth, in France and in Canada.

Canada’s Bioderma Laboratories team is currently looking for a :

Medical representative
 Territory : Ontario, Western Canada

You will work closely with the Vice-President of Sales in the execution of the communication strategy. You will be responsible for the sale of our dermatology division’s product-line to dermatologists who are current or potential clients. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of a sales plan for the assigned territory, as well as the carrying out of the sales objectives. In addition to this, you will be required to keep a customer database.

* To research prospects and potential customers, such as medical specialists and dermatology professionals ;
* To develop personalized customer relations, in order to determine customers’ needs ;
* To reach weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets using the adequate reports and performance indicators * To work with the VP of Sales to develop individual sales objectives, strategies and plans to measure progress ;
* To actively participate in professional networking activities ; to attend conferences and other business events in order to do client prospection and to make the target market aware of our different product lines.

Desired profile
• University diploma or other relevant education and experience combination
* Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position, in business development and client prospection, preferably in the healthcare field
* The candidate must have an interest in healthcare, as well as in the beauty product industry (context, evolution, stakes)
* Comprehension of the sales process and techniques used in healthcare
* Bilingual an asset (French and English)
* Owner of a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
