Cook needed. We provide room and board, a stipend, and a great northern experience. A crew from around the world shares our life with sled-dogs, and our off-grid lifestyle. Wilderness, yet close to Whitehorse. Beautiful ranch on the shores of the Takhini River.
The Lodge Cook manages the kitchen and pantry, coordinates menus and shopping, prepares meals for 16 to 30 people, and supervises the kitchen clean-up crews. We have to be able to accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free and other special diets. Some specialty menus in place with Arctic Char, Elk, Bison and Caribou. Good wholesome meals and some baking. 5 days a week in the fall, 6 days a week from mid-December to mid-March.
