Local Ambassadors interact everyday with our merchant customers and
revolutionize the way local businesses approach advertising.

Local Ambassador
Do you love your GREEN city? Do you want to help more people discover healthy
green alternatives and develop the local green economy? Do you like the idea of
working with a team of passionate, entrepreneurial change makers to build a
movement from the ground up? Are you motivated by unlimited earning potential?

helps people discover their GREEN city through daily deals from local GREEN
companies. Every day, ethicalDeal sends its members a deal that relates to
their interests of healthy and sustainable living — everything from organic
spa treatments and vegan restaurants to eco products and services for the bath,
body and home.
We are looking for Local Ambassadors to join our regional teams in Vancouver,
Victoria, Toronto and San Francisco. Local Ambassadors are at the very
foundation of everything we do at ethicalDeal. You are responsible for finding
green businesses in your community, developing win-win relationships, and
introducing their green products and services to our thousands of
ethicalShoppers through our daily deals. Local Ambassadors are well-connected,
social media savvy, high-energy individuals who get paid when they sign local
businesses up for an ethicalDeal promotion.
Responsibilities:
• Identifying green businesses in your community to feature to our eco
conscious shoppers. Check out some of our recent green deals: http://ethicaldeal.com/deals/recent
• Acting as a marketing consultant to identify ways in which the business can
best reach and engage the local green consumer and ultimately grow their
business through ethicalDeal
• Qualify prospective businesses by phone and close deals in-person
• Using your consultative sales skills, assess the businesses goals, propose a
customized ethicalDeal solution, and obtain commitment
• Manage relationships with established clients and construct contracts within
selling guidelines to develop and maintain a book of business
• Communicate ongoing contact and sales activities in our customer relationship
management software and regularly collaborate with our team on best deal
strategies
• Engage community groups and use social media to spread the word about our
green deals
Requirements:

• Effective communicator
• Strong organizational skills
• Networked within the community
• Tech and social media savvy
• Sales experience required
