We are currently looking for two dedicated and hard working interns to join our team for the 2012 season beginning in May. Our interns take on various responsibilities during our classes and canoe trips and are a crucial part of the experience that we offer. Some of the responsibilities will include the cooking of meals during our classes, helping prepare lectures and lessons in the classroom and field as well as working on our various canoe trips. In exchange for their help they will take part in all of our programs and gain hands on experience in many areas including wilderness survival, edible and medicinal plants, canoe tripping/guiding, naturalist and tracking training, etc…. We will also work to develop a one on one mentoring program with each intern that is tailored to their area of interest.

Preference will be given to those who possess the following:
* Experience in the outdoor industry
* Experience teaching and mentoring in nature based education
* Canoe trip guiding experience
* A strong desire to learn wilderness living skills and pass this knowledge on to others.
* Certification in Wilderness First Aid, ORCA, NLS, etc….
