We live at the dawning of a new age which is bringing opportunities for the emerging green professions and trades.
York Rangers is a paid Youth Internship Program designed to provide young people the opportunity to explore these new trades and develop basic green professional and trade skills through a structured working/learning environment.
The 6 successful Interns must be:
between the ages of 15 and 30 and demonstrate a strong interest in working in the emerging environmental professions and trades.
Participants must be:
• unemployed or underemployed,
• not eligible to receive Employment Insurance,
• out of school
• live in York Region or Bradford, ON
• a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or protected person
• legally entitled to work Canada
The program runs from April 9th-August 31st, 35 hours per week, at a rate of $10.25/hour.
