Campaign
Associate
Reporting to the VP,
Resource Development, the Campaign Associate is responsible for the activities
related to the development, implementation and maintenance of administrative
systems to support the effective and efficient operations of TCT’s Chapter 150
Campaign.
SUMMARY OF
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides
effective administrative support to the VP, Resource Development and Campaign
team by:
- Coordinating
the Campaign team’s calendar, scheduling meetings and making travel
arrangements; - Providing
clerical support such as coordinating the collection of data, typing and
formatting for reports (such as the Board or budget reports.); - Coordinating
regular meetings and presentations with internal staff and external
partners, including sending of invitations, setting agendas, arranging
venues, taking, transcribing and distributing meeting minutes; - Coordinating
regularly occurring Campaign department meetings; - Ensuring
coordination of proposals, briefing papers and campaign materials required
for solicitation; working cross departmentally in Communications and
Annual program - Maintaining
Campaign files and shared drives; - Preparing
correspondence, including letters of introduction, thank you letters and
follow-up letters; - Updating,
preparing and distributing reports, including monthly campaign status
report and newsletter updates, their contact lists as required by the VP,
Resource Development; Processing purchase orders, receipts, accounts
payable, etc; - Handling
tasks and projects assigned by VP, Resource Development
2. Supporting the
Campaign Team
- Manages
incoming campaign mail and donations, ensuring gifts are coded properly
for the gift processing team; - Contributes
to a strong, effective and respected team that is proactive,
goal-oriented, responsive, helpful and anticipatory; - Ensures
all data and donor information is properly captured in Raiser’s Edge; - Answers
telephone inquiries from donors, and records information for call back by
appropriate staff - Assist
Development Officer with the preparation and timely delivery of donor
stewardship fulfillment packages - Conducts
prospect research for campaign staff on corporate donors and foundation
grants and individual donors - Supports
the development of grant applications - Coordinates
production between Campaign staff of campaign donor reports, (queries from
Raiser’s Edge) and collects statistics/actions for campaign solicitor
reports for volunteers and ensures all necessary information is centrally,
and electronically filed on Raiser’s Edge
3. General Duties
- Attends
important Campaign and Annual Program Development meetings, as required - Represents
the Campaign team with passion and professionalism within the TCT and
externally, as required - Acts as
a role model in promoting the TCT’s values by demonstrating appropriate
behaviour
REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Knowledge
of Campaign initiatives, policies and goals; - Advanced
computer literacy in MS Office Suite; - Experience
in Raiser’s Edge database; - Strong
organizational and time management skills; - Excellent
interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; - Driven
and ambitious with the ability to create and achieve; - Strong
implementation skills; - Attention

EDUCATION
& EXPERIENCE
- 1-2
years of relevant office administration experience - Superior
