Landman Gardens and Bakery is a family-operated business located just
north of Grand Valley Ontario; w
e are committed to growing and
producing the best quality food for you and your family. We grow 2
acres of organically-grown produce and have two vegetable CSA programs
that run through the growing season.

General Positon Description
This position will have varied duties including:
• Assisting with the design of crop rotations and garden layouts
• Crop planting with the goal of building healthy soils & growing
nutritious crops
• Developing a variety of orgainic weed control techniques
• Efficient harvesting techniques – harvest and post-harvest handling
• Marketing through a Summer CSA
• Transplant production, planting and seeding
• Basic equipment maintenance and repair
We are looking for someone who:
• Is inquisitive, hard-working and self-motivated, with leadership skills
• Has experience in, and a desire to explore a career in farming
• Works well independently and as part of a team,
• Is organized, tidy and a good communicator and
• Has general Animal Husbandry knowledge
Requirements:
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 10 pounds at all times.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Tuesday – Saturday 8 am – 5 pm (42.5 hours/week)
• May – September (start and ends dates flexible)
The work week will be Tuesday – Saturday depending on the time of year and
work.
