At Ontario Solar Provider, we specialize in the financing,
engineering, procurement and construction of
large scale rooftop solar
installations under Ontario’s Feed-in-Tariff program. We have
developed and constructed over 50 MW of solar on more than 100
rooftops under Ontario’s FIT Program.

We’re looking for: Project Administrator Intern
Type of Employment: full-time contract, 40 hrs/week
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Duration of contract: 3 months
Start date: ASAP (tent. April 20th, 2015)
Compensation: $15/hour
Duties: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but
are by no means limited to the following:
• Interaction with Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO)
• Management of Feed-in Tariff (FIT) application processes:
preparation and submission of FIT applications for the 2015 FIT window
• Interaction with Municipalities, Co-op and Aboriginal groups
• Reading, understanding and relaying regulatory requirements
• Monitoring of program changes and developments, particularly
surrounding FIT 3.0
• Management of Domestic Content Report processes: preparation and
collection of required and supporting documentation
• Information gathering
• Monitoring of regulatory developments relevant to OSP’s business activities
• Some administrative tasks
• General research and business activities
Qualifications:
• University or College degree
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and commitment to
high quality work
• Excellent communication skills – oral, written, proof reading
• Knowledge of MS office – Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities effectively and
problem solve
• Friendly and professional manner and appearance
• Work effectively in a fast-paced working environment
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to
interact with staff at all levels and a wide range of
individuals/communities/organizations.
