The Me to We
Coordination Team is seeking an outgoing and highly motivated individual with
previous fundraising, customer service, sales, and project management
experience, to join our department as a Fundraising
Manager.
This individual will
be responsible for overseeing the Me to We Fundraising Program and providing
support to youth as a personal fundraising coach. This role requires an
individual who has experience working with youth and adults and has
demonstrated their ability to develop and execute projects, attain financial
goals and meet deadlines.**
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, the following:
Customer
Service, Client Engagement & Collaboration
- Empower
youth to achieve their fundraising goals in order to make their dream of
travelling on a Me to We Trip possible. - Proactively
support up to 500 youth with their trip fundraising which includes:
following up consistently via phone and email with clients to keep them
motivated and focused on their goals, organizing and hosting webinars,
conducting one-on-one fundraising check-ins with high needs clients in the
program, and attending fundraising events when possible. - Work
alongside fellow Me to We Trip Coordination & Engagement Departments
(sales department) to ensure all financial targets are being met and
clients are being provided with the best possible service that meets their
individual needs. - Collaborate
with other departments to identify opportunities to improve current
fundraising program strategies and enhance the overall customer
fundraising experience at every stage of the trip process. - Liaise
with the Engagement Team to ensure the fundraising program is productively
contributing to their sales targets and increase the quality of lead
generation provided back to the Engagement team. - Assist
the coordination team in reaching out to youth who have been flagged as
potential cancellations. - Answer
any questions youth, parents, and educators may have regarding Me to We’s
School and Youth experiences.
Coaching
& Mentoring
- Coach
and mentor youth to ensure they have the tools, skills, resources, and
confidence needed to reach their fundraising goals and participate in a Me
to We Trip. - Provide
coaching and mentoring to frontline team members on how to speak to the
fundraising program and the level of support that is available through the
Fundraising Manager and the program itself. - Train
Me to We’s Engagement Team on how to speak to youth who have expressed the
need to fundraise with the objective of helping to them meet their sales
targets. - Mentor
coordinators on how to effectively identify individuals who are at risk of
cancelling and to mitigate this by using appropriate techniques and
communication.
Project
Management, Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze,
track and compile reports using Salesforce to demonstrate the outcomes of
the Fundraising Program. - Realign
and modify processes to meet established targets and seek to find trends
that can be used to grow the program and improve its outcomes. - Responsible
for developing, implementing and coordinating new projects that will
positively impact sales and retention. - Manage
the internal scholarship and bursary program (Joe’s Dreams) and manage the
selection committee, the evaluation process, and update/circulate the
application form. - Actively
seek out alternative funding sources (bursaries, grants from government,
etc.) to grow Joe’s Dream. - Work
with the Accounts Receivable team and the Manager of Information and
Technology to manage Me to We’s online fundraising pages and mitigate
questions and requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Resource
Development/Maintenance
- Responsible
for reviewing and updating the current resources available to all
fundraising youth that teaches individuals how to run effective
fundraising initiatives. Current resources focus on: action planning,
developing a budget, marketing the initiatives, event management, and
re-engaging donors. - Revitalize
current documents to make them applicable to a larger demographic such as
large groups, families, and adult/corporate groups, in an effort to expand
the fundraising program. - Manage
the fundraising programs social media presence, including posting
fundraising ideas to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and various other social
media outlets.
Skills and
Qualifications
- Previous
customer service and sales experience - Keen
interest in fundraising, inspiring youth, and project management - Demonstrated
leadership skills acquired through professional, academic or personal life
experiences - Proven
ability to take initiative, work independently and manage high-stress
situations - Ability
to multitask and “think on your feet” in a demanding and
fast-paced work environment - Excellent
oral, written communication and public speaking skills - Articulate
and self-motivated team player with proven success in building
relationships and driving revenue - Strong
ability to seek out new fundraising initiatives and think creatively - Friendly
and determined self-starter with the ability to interact with clients on
the phone & in person - Excellent
phone communication skills, with the ability to handle high phone call
volume - Ability
to focus on revenue driving activities and maintaining a sense of urgency - Administration
and data management experience - Knowledge
of Salesforce or another CRM system is an asset - International
travel experience is an asset - Must be
eligible to work in Canada
