Farm worker on established farm. Participate in and learn all
activities associated with a sheep, hay and grain farm, from planting
to processing to marketing. Looking for someone who has done some
serious farming, and knows this is for them. They should have an
interest in, and capacity for the business of farming, and are looking
for the long-term opportunity of bringing youth and vitality to a farm
with owners who would like to slow down over the next few years. Work
varies a lot with the seasons, but often requires considerable
strength and fitness. Fifteen dollars an hour to start, with the
opportunity to increase earnings with experience and their ability to
increase the farm’s return to labour.
