We are Cabin Forestry Services – an innovative forestry consulting company that

we currently have a diverse range of forestry work and are looking for new team
members to join our growing company. We currently have operations based out of
Vernon, Kelowna and Castlegar.

About the Opportunities

As a member of our team, you’ll have an opportunity to work with other highly
skilled professionals on challenging projects throughout the Okanagan Valley
and West Kootenays.

We are currently looking to fill multiple positions and preference will be
given to applicants with skill or experience in timber development, recreation
trail design and construction and wildfire management.

The following positions are currently available. Please note that to be
eligible for any of the positions below, you MUST have experience in the
forestry industry and be registered as a RPF or RFT.

SENIOR FOREST TECHNICIANS
• Registered (and in good standing) with the ABCFP as RPF or RFT;
• Experience managing and implementing multi-phase timber development
contracts, including road and cutblock layout in the interior of BC (cable
layout experience an asset);
• Experience preparing Site Plans and Cutting Permits in the BC Interior; and
• Familiar with BC’s forest legislation and regulations.

PROJECT MANAGERS
• Registered (and in good standing) with the ABCFP as RPF or RFT;
• Minimum six years’ experience managing and implementing multi-phase timber
development contracts, including road and cutblock layout in the interior of BC
(cable layout experience an asset);
• Minimum six years’ experience preparing Site Plans and Cutting Permits in the
BC Interior; and
• Familiar with BC’s forest legislation and regulations.

All applicants should be self-motivated and excellent communicators who
demonstrate a high-level commitment to safety.

A positive attitude, strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in
a team environment is essential for success, as is the ability to meet the
physical demand of the role.

Finally, all applicants MUST have a valid Class 5 Drivers License and be
legally allowed to work in Canada.
