Summary of Position
Treetop Trekking is looking for an ent
husiastic individual who is looking for a
full time seasonal position within a rapidly growing company. The site manager
is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the park’s operation, from Human
Resources, marketing, sales, maintenance and more.
Qualifications
• University or College degree in a related field is considered an asset.
• Current First Aid and CPR. Wilderness first aid is considered an asset.
• Working knowledge on aerial courses is an asset.
• Must be 18 years old
Responsibilities as the Site Manager
Human Resources
• hiring, training and discipline of staff
• control of HR costs
• monitor the staff morale and make adjustments when needed
• aid in organizing the year end gathering for staff (Ontario Wide)
Sales and Marketing
• responsible for building relationships within the community
• maintaining constant communication with the marketing director to participate
in local advertising opportunities
• actively monitor the daily, weekly and monthly sales (all sales goals will be
provided)
Accounting
• ensure the cash register balances every day
• ensure that the reservation system is being used accurately
• ensure all purchases are within the budget
Operations
• ensure T.S.S.A. regulations are being met or exceeded
• oversee daily operations of the park
• address customer complaints
• oversee all maintenance needs in the office and the courses
• ensure all WSIB regulations are being met (including a monthly meeting)
• participate in weekly Skype meetings with the Regional Manager
Additional Information
• This is a salaried position and the contract runs from March 2016 to October
31, 2016. Wages vary depending on experience.
