in 1978, Green Calgary is a leading urban environmental charity with the
mission of empowering Calgarians to take effective action on environmental
issues in their homes, businesses, schools, and communities.

Based
in Calgary and reporting to the Green Calgary Board of Directors, you will
provide integrated leadership to Green Calgary to foster a vibrant workplace
culture, ensure financial resiliency, raise the organizational profile, and
engage the wider Calgary community in greening the way they live, work and
play. Your organization consists of 10 staff (a mix of full time and part
time), an active roster of over 600 volunteers, and a diverse program offering.

business systems and previous experience leading a non-profit or business
organization. You possess a strategic mindset, well-developed organizing

parties and foster collaboration, are able to develop staff talents, and to act
as an effective ambassador and spokesperson for Green Calgary. You will have
strong financial acumen and previous experience with developing, and being
accountable to, annual business plans and budgets. You will have experience in
working successfully with a board of directors.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary
degree - 5
years or more of previous experience in a senior leadership role for a
non-profit organization with at least $500,000+ in annual operating - Supervisory
experience - Experience
in leading business plan / budget development and implementation - Proven
ability to grow membership and fund development
