Team Leader (Relationship Management)
AESR is seeking to fill the position of a Team Leader (Relationship Management) in Wholesale Banking covering the Singapore market primarily for a Singapore-based foreign bank. The incumbent must have a minimum of 8 years experience in relationship management and business origination work. Strong appreciation of trade finance business is required. The successful candidate must have an existing client network in the Middle Market and Large Corporate segment.
Key Responsibilities
• Guiding and leading a team of Relationship Managers to achieve revenue targets
• Business acquisition in the Middle Market and Large Corporate space in the Singapore market
• Client relationship management; formulating appropriate strategies for each client / account to increase line utilizations and revenue from each account
• Manage the risks aspects associated with the portfolio of accounts and maintain a high credit quality standard of the portfolio under care
• Prepare credit applications and loan reviews
• Close monitoring of the accounts and ensuring that the distress signals are flagged up at an early stage and appropriate measures taken to address any risk exposures
Requirements :
• Must be proficient in English and Mandarin (both verbal and written)
• Strong wholesale banking product knowledge, in particular commodity trade finance, cash management and FX
• Tertiary qualified with post graduate qualifications a plus
• Strong relationship management and business origination skills
• Strong network of clients in Middle Market and Large Corporate space
• Strong credit risk appreciation and experienced in handling credit documentation
