Buyer

Responsibilities:
• Perform the purchasing tasks for semiconductor equipment, spares and fabricated parts
• Identify and develop new sources to reduce total cost
• Analyse competitive bids, select suppliers, and negotiate for the best price
• Negotiate for best purchase terms and conditions, quality, price, delivery, warranty, service level, etc
• Identify purchasing risks and flag concerns. Follow up on problematic parts and services until they are received
• Drive continuous improvement such as quality improvement, cost reduction, lead-time reduction, payment terms improvements etc

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree holder, preferably in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in purchasing, preferably in semiconductor or electronics industries.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• SAP knowledge
