REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
– Excellent communications of English and Swahili
– Strong social economic and analytical skills
– Excellent writing skills
– Wide range of knowledge on national and international news content
– Researching skills on news and related facts
– Objective thinking
QUALIFICATIONS
· Holder BA in mass communications, journalism or its equivalent from
recognized institutions
· Have 3 years work experience
· Must have computer skills
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
· write stories,, features and commentaries
· make follow up- story
· check for stories by getting views of all parties involved
· mentor writers
· Investigate events for the purpose of obtaining exclusive
· Develop individual targets and performance standards as part of the
individual performance agreement in consultations with the head of sections
· Research for additional background information’s for writers stories,
features and commentaries
· Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the head of sections
