Degree in Project
Management, business Administration, international
development or similar relevant education, Minimum of 5 yrs
progressive experience of NGO pro

ject and/or programme management,
Significant understanding and experience with project budget sand
financial management, Significant understanding and experience of
donor requirements and donor reporting, Excellent and demonstrable
project planning, implementation and monitoring, Good experience in
staff management, stakeholder liaison, and community engagement,
Experience of working with refugees, host communities and
municipalities, Excellent knowledge and/or experience of working with
WASH programming, Fluent in English and Chichewa

To oversee the implementation of WASH projects in various locations
within Action Against hunger Kapise and Luwani Camp in Mwanza and Neno
Districts, Work in close consultation with HQ and Missions WASH
Technical Referent and Country Director to offer technical support in
planning, implementing, monitoring and managing WASH activities under
different donors, Understand and oversee the specific donor
requirements for quality of output for each location, To ensure each
donors visibility requirements are actively followed and visible in
respective communities, To ensure that all outputs are achieved whit
budget for each donor by the completion of each contract

Develop access to water and improve sanitary conditions in the
intervention area, Collect and analyse information on access to water
and sanitation and the hygienic conditions of the populations,
Identify the needs of the most vulnerable populations and define
vulnerability criteria, To monitor donor budgets and effective
expenditure on the right activities in the right locations, per donor,
To understand the activities that each donor has funded in each
location, and the associated budgets, Donor Reporting, Project
Capitalisation, and internal Reporting, To match the operational
activities in each location with the requirements of each donor, To
initiate and follow up all internal an donor reporting to ensure that
the relevant activities and locations are reported correctly to the
relevant donors, Coordination Participation to stakeholders,
Participate in meetings with the relevant stakeholders concerning WASH
activities such as shelter, distribution, food security or health and
nutrition, Participate in the recruiting process and the team’s
training, Schedule and coordinate the team’s activities, Identify
training needs

Under the supervision of the Country Director the Program Manager is
responsible for the implementation of all the Action Against Hunger
WASH projects in Kapise and Luwani Camps and the reporting linked to
the projects, The Programme manager will also liaise with stakeholders
to ensure good communication, Capacity building will be one of the
main transversal elements to be taken into account in all objectives
