Our client, a
financial institution, registered under the Banking Act seeks the services of a
Branch Manager
Grow the loan book,
Ensure quality control in branch operations, Promote customer service,
Responsible for branch outreach goals and operational sustainability
Responsible for
achieving loan targets se
t for all products at the branch level and maintaining
a quality loan book with portfolio at risk below 5% + Visit ad nurture
relationships with clients , Responsible for achieving deposit targets for all
products at the branch level and ensure that the loan book is funded by the
branch deposits + Manage savings and deposit mobilisation businesses, ensuring
that deposit volumes continue to grow on target, Manager day to day operations
of the Branch inter alia, Ensure a sales-oriented culture within the banning
half and accuracy with excellent customer service + Ensure Deposits, Cash
Management are at optimum levels of cash in the branch + Ensure all
branch operations are in compliance with local banking and finance
legislation, regulations, policies and procedures, Responsible for people
management of the branch together with Human Resources Department +Conduct
performance appraisals, ensure career progression, instil discipline and staff
morale and motivation, Responsible for cost control of the branch and
profitability after transfer pricing + Monitor actual results versus projected
results on a monthly basis and take action to correct significant deviations,
Drive sales for all fee income generating products and services i.e. Cell phone
Banking, Mobile money and ARMS
This is a senior
position requiring a mature + problem solver + Self motivated individual with
strong numeracy and communication skills, and strong analytical competencies,
coupled with the ability to inter alia
Manage staff
effectively and work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
Holder of a bachelor
Degree in Business, Statistics, Marketing, Commerce or Economics + Masters
degree preferred + at least 5 yrs extensive experience and training in
overseeing branch management and operations
