Officer – Sight savers
Sight savers is a
development organization working in over 33 countries to prevent avoidable
blindness and improve the wellbeing of persons with disability Sight
savers Malawi Country Office(MICO) based in Lilongwe seeks to fill the position
of Project Finance Officer The position reports to the Finance and Support
Services manager and will coordinate and provide t
echnical support to the Queen
Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust funded SAFE Programme in Malawi through partner
capacity, building budget and financial planning, monitoring and
reporting. The ideal candidate who should be a Malawian national must
possess a University Degree in Accounting, Finance or relate field or ACCA,
CIMA or CIA and equivalent A minimum 3 yrs. work experience, ideally
in an INGO environment, experience in audit and Govt organisation would also be
advantageous, The successful candidate will have strong financial, programme
and project management, as well as strong grant accounting and reporting
background and experience in working with partners S/he should have
strong interpersonal, communication, capacity building or facilitation skills,
ability to work under minimum supervision, ability to work with project budgets
and has an in-depth knowledge of computer financial packages and Global ICT
