Due to the restructure, we currently require a Senior
Information Security Specialist to join the global team . The role
will have geographic responsibility for the offices and projects across the
APAC (Zone 1) region.

Information Security Specialist to join the global team . The role

Based
in Melbourne and reporting to the Global Manager Information Security, you will
provide technical leadership around the technical security review and approval
for new projects and modifications to existing solutions within the global
WorleyParsons Secured environment which includes netwroks, servers, EUC
and mobile / portable / BYOD. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

- Working
with WorleyParsons’ Strategy & Architecture staff to provide the
integrated team of service providers and outsourced partners support in
the areas of development and documentation of processes and standards to
mitigate or minimize information security risk; - Provide
input and guidance as required in the area of resolving and supporting the
Global Information Security team with incidents and requests relating to
Host, Applications, and Network Security; - Participate
in the development and implementation of effective and reasonable policies
and practices to secure protected and sensitive data and ensure
information security and compliance with relevant legislation and legal
interpretation; - Work
with IT and business functions to internally assess, evaluate and make
recommendations to management regarding the adequacy of the local and
global security controls for the WorleyParsons information and technology
systems; - Support
security initiatives to address unique needs in protecting identity theft,
mobile social media security, and online reputation programs; - Develop,
implement and administer technical security standards in conjunction with
the MSS provider, as well as a suite of security services and tools to
address and mitigate security risk; - Participate
in IT change management process reviews and change boards.
To
be considered for this role you will have demonstrated experience with delivery
of Information Security standards and projects for a large scale
(preferably multinational) business operation. We will specifically look for
the following skills, experience and attributes:

- Recognised
Degree or certificate in IT Services area, or equivalent experience in IT
Services role; - Hands-on
experience in leading host based assessment/technical reviews,
securing mobile devices (Android/iOS/Windows) and working knowledge
of Antivirus products, malware response, Host-Based Protection Systems and
endpoint encryption. - Proficiency with
Active Directory controls, group permissions and domains, vulnerability
management systems and vulnerability scanning tools. - Proven
ability with development of policies, processes and procedures for a large
scale organisation; - Sound
knowledge of IT Services technologies, and their application to business
operations; - Broad
understanding of ECPM and/or energy & resources industry, and related
IT Services requirements;
