The purpose of the
role is deliver IT securi
ty design, review and consulting services to
Infrastructure and transformation initiative.

The IT Security
Architect – Networks will be working within the Networks stream of NGIS
program. The IT Security Architect – Networks is responsible for planning and
conducting IT Security, IT Risk and IT Service continuity reviews related to
the NGIS program.

The position will be
responsible for ensuring that services introduced by the Network stream within
the Program include appropriate security and risk controls and that information
security is managed in a manner that will protect Information Assets and
Information Infrastructure.

Key
Deliverables will included:

• Engagement
  with key stakeholders to ensure IT security, IT Risk and IT Service
  Continuity controls are appropriately implemented;
• IT
  Security design and review for Networks stream;
• Providing
  the Program with subject matters expertise in IT Security, IT Risk and IT
  Service Continuity to ensure compliance with agency and NSW Government
  policies and standards;
• Providing
  the program with subject matter expertise to ensure services are aligned
  with IT Strategy and architecture;
• Ensuring
  that IT Risks within the Network Stream of the program are identified and
  treated as per the Enterprise Risk Management (TERM) standard.
