based in Washington, D.C., is recruiting for a program coordinator to be based
in Lilongwe for the USAID-funded Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) program in Malawi. The
F2F program works to generate rapid, sustained economic growth in the
agricultural sector through short term technical assistance provided by U.S.
volunteers and supported by our highly trained local staff. Volunteer

are provided along targeted value chains, identifying needs
at every level, from production to marketing, among variety of stakeholders including
farms and farmer cooperatives, agro-processors, financial institutions,
industry associations, and government institutions.

F2F program coordinator assists the country director with all aspectsof program
implementation. The coordinator establishes new relationships with new
beneficiary organizations, analyzes the needs of those organizations, and
coordinates assignments and logistics for volunteer consultsnts as well as
other tasks needed.

- Bachelor’s
degree in Agriculture, Agri-business, or related area of study. - Knowledge
of horticulture and legumes (soy and groundnuts) value chains. - At
least 2 years professional experience in agriculture , rulal
development, or business. - Strong
interpersonal skills. - Strong
knowledge of the agriculture sector in Malawi. - Availability
and willingness to work in the field. - Fluency
in English and Chichewa (written and spoken) is required. - Basic
computer skills and eperience with microsoft office suite (word, Excel,
Powerpoint, Outlook). - Must
prove Malawian employment eligibility.
