An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Senior
Paraplanner to work with BT Financial Group supporting Westpac Financial
Planners. You will be contributing to our mission of being a Paraplanning
Centre of Excellence in the financial services industry.

The role is suitable for motivated individuals who
have the necessary skills to ‘hit the ground running’ and immediately assist
with SoA writing.  As a senior Paraplanner you will work closely with a
small network of financial planners, providing quality customised support to meet
the clients’ needs.

What
you need to succeed
  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner >3
    years preferred.
  • Previous experience in a centralised unit
    is an advantage.
  • COIN software experience is an advantage.
  • RG146 essential.
  • Completion of ADFS and/or tertiary
    qualification in a related discipline essential.
  • Assist in the development of complex and
    comprehensive strategies.
  • Knowledge of various tax structures &
    preparation of multiple entity SoA’s.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring other
    team members. 
Other
areas of expertise will include
 
  • Ability to identify and document a range
    of strategies in a compliant, personalised and tailored format.
  • Providing added value to end client by
    assisting the Planner in the formulation of appropriate strategies for the
    client from information and instructions provided by Planners.
  • Strong customer service skills,
    orientation and focus
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
     both oral and written
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part
    of a team in a pressure environment and demonstrate an aptitude for problem
    solving.
  • Excellent planning and organisational
    skills
  • Diligent with attention to detail and time
    management skills
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback
    from peers – team members and Planners.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office
    suite; Word, Excel, Outlook.
