DEFINITION
According to the 1979 general convention on long range trans-boundary as
the introduction by man directly and indirectly of substance of energy into the
air resulting in delirious effects of such a nature as to endanger human
health.

EFFECTS
·          
Hydrocarbons are suspected of being cancer
providing agent, so air pollution increase the risk factor of cancer.

Breathing of contaminated air can cause
irritants to the noise and eyes.
·          
Motor vehicle emission and chemical can cause
plant damage and reduce visibility.
·          
Causes tyres and other rubber products to crack
and destroy crops.
