Clinical Psychologist to work with our private
practice team
Victorian Counselling & Psychological Services
(VCPS) is an established private mental health service operating across three
locations in Melbourne, and has public-private partnerships with community
health services and university health clinics. Operating for more than 20
years, VCPS provides a range of clinical, assessment and consulting services to
children, adolescents, adults and families as well as EAP services to schools
and organsiations.

We are seeking to employ, or engage as a contractor, a Clinical Psychologist to
work within our East Melbourne and/or Mill Park teams.

Located next to the South Morang train Station, the Mill Park clinic, is a new
centre providing mental health and general medical services.

In this role, you will predominantly provide services to University students
(via our university health service partnership) as well as general clinical
psychology services to clients who present with issues within your defined
interest areas.

VCPS supports professional development with an opportunity to participate in
learning and development programs and shared case management meetings. We will
also support the introduction of additional clinical services or group programs
to our clinics if you have professional interests which you would like to develop
further.

The VCPS East Melbourne team comprises Clinical, Counseling and
Neuro-psychologists, Psychiatrists and General Practitioners, supported by full
time practice management and secretarial support. We provide an excellent
working environment utilising state of the art systems including paperless
client records.

Operating from the Mill Park Clinic are a variety of other providers including
Austin CAMHS outpatient clinicians, and Medicare Local programs and staff. It
is also set up to deliver medical and mental health staff teaching.

Essential requirements of applicants:
-Registered Psychologist
-Member of College of Clinical Psychologists
-Eligibility to deliver Clinical Psychology services via Medicare
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Excellent computer skills
