Senior Design Engineer (Static Equipment)
Selangor
Responsibilities:
• Prepare/Review design calculations for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, mounded bullets accordance to international design codes i.e. ASME, PD5500, TEMA, API, EEMUA etc.
• Review / Check design drawings, shop fabrication drawings and cutting plans produced by draughtsman
• Prepare /Review material take off, material requisitions & material specifications
• Prepare /Review specifications, procedures etc.
• Assist in estimation & proposal preliminary design work
• Supervise a team of 3 – 5 design engineers & draughtsman work
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or Equivalent
• Familiar with mechanical design for static equipment’s to international design codes like ASME, PD5500, TEMA, API 650, API 620 etc.
• Familiar with material specification, i.e. ASME, EN, ASTM etc
• Familiar with pressure vessels design software like COMPRESS, PVELITE etc.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Min. 5 yrs experience in static equipment’s design.
• Good technical knowledge & communication skill in liaising with various parties, i.e. clients, suppliers, 3rd parties or inter departments personnel
